JULY 2010 NEWSLETTER
Good day to all,
We are writing this newsletter earlier than usual to make sure that you will receive it well before the 4th of July weekend. We have planned a number of fun activities for the entire family during the day; pool races and games, the traditional Golf Cart Parade, a great Buffet on Sunday evening at reduced prices and, of course, our Fireworks Extravaganza. Plan to spend Sunday July 4th at your Club, celebrate our country and have a ball while doing so.
The club dining on Sunday July 4th will be just like a normal day we will open at 11:00 AM, we will be offering our regular menu and the Sunday specials and will remain open until 9:00 PM, with regular menu and the Family Buffet starting at 6:00 PM
The membership drive was a great success! It generated 33 new golf memberships and 4 new social memberships; the projected added annual revenue for the Club is in excess of $125,000.
At the end of the month of May, the Club is $70,000 in the black and looks like we will continue to prosper.
On Monday June 21st we installed all new cooking equipment in the Kitchen consisting of a 6 burner stove with oven, infrared heat salamander, radiant heat char broiler, griddle, two high capacity convection ovens and an additional high temperature, quick recovery fryer for a total of 3 working fryers. This new equipment will allow us to prepare your food orders faster and obtain the requested temperatures for your steaks. The entire culinary and serving staff is eagerly awaiting your orders to try out the new equipment.
July starts with the bang of the fireworks and we are trying to keep this high all month long; on Thursday July 8th we are having a Pool Party, there will be music and you can order food and beverages from our regular menu, just bring your bathing suit and let’s have fun! On Saturday July 1oth we are having an Italian Food Festival, all of your Italian favorites at a greatly reduced price. On the 17th the ever popular Member Appreciation Buffet and on July 31st we close the month out in style with the extravagant Seafood Buffet.
The Friday Night Specials are all reduced in price and feature some of our most delectable offerings.
Tino is not going to be able to provide us with his dinner music this month, he is having minor surgery and needs to rest his hands, in his place, Jason will regale us with his pleasant and melodious guitar chords.
The Wine Dinner this month is a BEER DINNER, and as an addition we will be having cigars and brandy in the Patio afterwards, it will be a great evening!
We also have the Four Ball Tournament this month, so July is a really busy month and your Club is just the place for you and your family to enjoy summer and get away from the heat.
