Good day to all,
Since we will be open on Monday May 31, Memorial Day, the Club will be closed on Tuesday June 1st.
After the first trimester of operations the club is still in solid financial ground; we are over $60,000 in the black and meeting or exceeding all Budget guidelines.
The Board has authorized the purchase of all new Kitchen cooking equipment which will allow us to provide faster cooking times and more accurate temperatures for your orders. We are planning to install the new equipment on Monday June 21st and will not disrupt any club activities.
For the record, when we have Weddings or any other large events, we will always have space available for the members to dine, either in the Boardroom or in the bar, your club is never closed to you for your dining pleasure.
We are reducing the prices on our Lunch Specials and making a couple of menu changes, there is no better place to have a business or pleasure lunch in Searcy than your Club, we hope to see you here more frequently and enjoy the specials and the reduced pricing.
June is a busy month; we have two golf tournaments, the Memorial, a three day event, on Friday June 11 thru Sunday June 13th, and the Todd A. Simpson Memorial on Saturday June 26th and Sunday June 27th. If you have not signed up for these fun filled events, time is running out.
On Thursday June 3rd we are having a New Prospective Member Reception in the Banquet room from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM; we will have wines, cheeses, hors d’ouevres, and music. If you have anyone that you think it would make a good member, bring them in, the membership drive will expire on June 5th and it will not be extended.
The Wine Dinner will take place on Thursday June 17th, some of the menu items are my all time favorites and the wine for the main course is an exceptional one that I am sure that everyone will enjoy. Make your reservations now and if you have never attended one of our wine dinners, this will be an ideal one to start.
During June we will Tino playing on Fridays the 4th and the 18th and Jason will be with us on Saturday the 19th
Everyone favorites Buffets, the Members Appreciation will take place on Saturday the 12th and our tremendous Seafood Buffet will happen on Saturday June 19th
