April 2010 Newsletter
Good day to all,
Finally, after a long, hard, cold, snowy & icy winter spring is here!
The golf course is coming around beautifully; hope that your game does the same after so many months of inactivity.
With spring comes spring cleaning; we will be cleaning all the carpets in the clubhouse this coming Monday the 29th, but they will be dry and ready to go on Tuesday, we are also in the process of replacing the canvas covers in the pool gazebo and have purchased new pool furniture. In addition, the tennis courts wind screens and nets are also being repaired. So, your club will be clean and inviting to you and your guests for the upcoming season.
We have many exciting and fun events planned for April;
On Easter Sunday we will have our great Easter Buffet with the Easter Bunny, Egg Hunts with prizes for all and this year we have the special addition of the Build a Pal Workshop, with their mascot Ronnie and 10% of all proceeds will go to the American Red Cross, so plan to join us on Easter Sunday, have fun, excellent food and contribute to a good cause.
The Line Dancing classes continue in full force on Thursday April 1st; don’t be a fool and come dance, you’ll have fun.
The ever popular Member’s Appreciation Buffet continues on Saturday April 10th.
The ladies will have their Golf outings on Tuesdays mornings and the Senior Men will golf on Wednesdays afternoons, we will also have The Searcy Country Club 3 Men Scramble on the 17th and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes tournament on the 23rd, Golf season is upon us!
On the 24th we will have our Seafood Buffet and the wine Dinner will be held the last Thursday of the month on the 29th and will be a completely Spring Event!
We would like to return to the Sunday Buffets; we need your help, please let us know what offerings you are looking for, it is Lunch items or Breakfast items or a combination, what price points, under $12, under $15, etc…. Do you want a Carving Station, an Omelet Station or neither? We can do just about anything you want, and we would like to know what that is so we can provide it for you and your family.
Please, e-mail us at miguelespinascc@sbcglobal.net, call or write to us at the club or just drop by and tell us what you want.
Looking forward to hear from you!
Happy Easter!
